I still don’t believe they set Joe up to be the final candidate, moreso to be a “foil” on the Ukraine heat.
He’s raised little money, his baggage is, well, “heavy” and the *only* reason I could imagine they *would* want to run him is to have an excuse going forward to say, “no more White men.”
The democrats were hoping for another charismatic candidate to appear and sweep the primaries and with help from the press go on to take the election. The fact that one didn’t rise to prominence they were forced to fall back on Biden who they hoped could at least hold his own, and with the help of the press coupled with constant harassment of Trump by congress would save the day.
The desperation is laughable. They continue to fumble to find an answer for Trump.
Looks like “coupe” Deval Patrick is in now. Ayanna Pressley must be so mad she threw her support in for whitebread Warren when she could’ve waited and endorsed her peep instead of her principles just like Colin Powell did in ’08.

The clock is ticking though – state by state filings are coming due very soon, and any new candidate would have to announce by mid-December to get on most of the ballots.
