As we told you earlier, the D-Day anniversary ceremony today in Normandy, France got off to a late start when French President Emmanuel Macro was late arriving at the event.
And as we told you earlier, a number of American journos blamed President Trump for it. But this false report from NBC News Chief White House Correspondent Hallie Jackson stands out for the sheer number of retweets it has garnered. 4000+, and counting, as of the writing of this post:
Her correction? Only 209 retweets:
…I would have expected him to arrive WAY too late, as he probably doesn’t even know what DAY it’s supposed to be on…
Macaroni just doing what Barry would do.
…although in fairness to Maricón, Hitler didn’t know when Americans would be on the D-day beaches EITHER, and they DO think alike…
..and, also like Barry the Indonesian, I suspect that the deeds of our troops who bled and died there are better honored if he’s NOT there, as he, like Barry, dishonors EVERYTHING with his presence and is not worthy to tread the same sand as those heroes even three-quarters of a century later…
Lucky for him we didn’t show up late on June 6th 1944. What a dick!
Did he wear a white suit?
@F4UCorsair – macaroni was waving a white flag in the direction of mecca.
He took him longer then he expected to find Merkel, the new German Nazi frau, and to surrendar!
These “SHONKS” at CNN will never get anything right when it comes to President Trump.
TY Meerkat.
The French weren’t there at all 75 years ago.
Macron had one job, just one and that was to wait tables for the affair and the stooge showed up late!
Macron was busy playing kissy-face with some mohammedans, and couldn’t be disturbed. 😡
You’ve forgotten that Micron spends $10grand on his make-up and hairproducts.
Plus, his old lady is an old lady; she can only get them Depends up just so fast.
He heard Merkel would be there and he was scared.
