During this past Tuesday’s primary Randy Thornton, a registered Republican voter in Kansas City was told he wasn’t allowed to enter the polling place because he was Make America Great (MAGA) hat on his head. Now unless I pulled a Rip Van Winkle and slept for two years, President Trump wasn’t running in this week’s GOP primary.
Thornton only wanted to perform his sacred American duty of casting his vote in the Missouri primary was told by a poll worker on Tuesday that he was not allowed to vote because he was wearing one of the president’s signature campaign hats. The Democrat poll worker was apparently triggered by the MAGA hat and, like all Democrats revealed his inner Maxine Waters by telling the voter to leave the polling place.
Imagine, an American trying to disenfranchise his neighbor over a simple hat. But that is precisely what happened, according to the Kansas City Star. But the liberal hater got a surprise when his minders told him he got the law wrong.
Punk totalitarian-in-training. I wonder where he went to college. I’m glad someone there actually KNEW the rules.
I am sure if they were a Democrat with no ID it would have been clear sailing (and maybe an extra ballot or two if this were held in Georgia’s Habersham County’s Mud Creek precinct).

Too bad he didn’t show up at Trump’s golf course with all the bikers, he could have gotten his hat signed by POTUS himself.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the MAGA hats I’ve seen don’t even have Trump’s name on them. So, there was no reason to tell him he couldn’t wear it.
I think I would have started by kicking the living shit out of the liberal faggot…and when I got sent to jail my 1st phone call would be to FOX News!
Is a pink pussy hat OK?
“Missouri law makes it a misdemeanor to wear political apparel within 25 feet of a polling location but only when it pertains to a specific candidate or issue on the ballot.”
I suspect it was an over-zealous poll worker who thought ANY political clothes are a no-no, and that the head of that polling station failed to get clarification on the law/rules.
This is just in keeping with the time-honored traditions of the Democrat Party, which in the antebellum South came up with the institution of the Poll Tax in order to discourage poor Blacks from voting.
So – disenfranchise American citizens, but allow illegal immigrants to cast a ballot – it’s the Democrat way!
Grrr.
i’m gonna have to check state law as there was a sign at my polling place that said political signs or clothing prohibited
I would not wear any thing political to a polling place. I want my vote to count, and then I want to leave. Because you can’t wear a gun there either, and I would feel NEKED.
B_B,
You may not be able to wear a gun OPENLY to a polling place. But if it’s concealed, who’s going to stop you? I carry concealed many places where it’s supposed to be a no-no.
It’s legal to wear pro-candidate attire in Nevada, too. Even in primaries. There was tons of pro-Republican clothing last time I voted, (no problems) you just can’t be bringing signs, yelling at people to vote for ____, and acting a fool.
But the 2 times before that with 0bama? The 0bamafans were making complete asses of themselves in lines (news reports) fighting, cutting in line, intimidating voters- even other democrat voters, and trying to vote twice. You can’t expect much from progs.
