In Costco a Russian lady in front of us used an EBT to pay for as much as she could get away with. She then whipped out a hand fulla brand new hundreds to pay for the rest. I believe the program should be like WIC where you get vouchers for certain foods. there should not be a cash benefit, and never should have been one in the first place. I have no problem helping the disabled, elderly, or veterans,but brood mare should not be a career path, and I get baby daddies should be held accountable as well. If the baby daddy can’t be identified, then there should be no public support, if the baby daddy is identified then he should be charged for the support of his spawn. if the baby daddy won’t submit to DNA testing, the this should be an automatic admission of paternity. DNA database should be searched to attach responsibilities were it needs to be, and that is not my wallet.
I have to be background-checked in order to have a job. I have to demonstrate that I am qualified in order to be considered for a job, which I then have to show up to, on time, to perform.
In the least, people should be required to demonstrate need for this assistance. I am fine with those in genuine need receiving aid. The abuse needs to stop.
