Like my old wrestling coach said, if you’re going to be a bear, be a Grizzly.
I would prefer to be many miles away from a mama grizzly bear and her cubs.
Dude’s going to get “Treadwelled.”
Katmai is certainly a unique place for bear watching. Seeing them in the rivers during the salmon run is awesome! Those bears are pretty tolerant when their natural food source is plentiful. When it’s not I recommend keeping your distance.
