An unhappy man has launched a ‘Donald Trump protest’ against a neighbor who put up a garden fence dividing their two properties. Paul Spooner who lives in Marston, Oxford, said a fence which has gone up in place of a hedge is reminiscent of the campaigning of the US Presidential candidate, who has threatened to construct a wall between the US and Mexico.
Mr Spooner has erected a banner in protest on the first floor of his home, and in full view of his neighbor’s house, with the words ‘Say no to Trump fencing here’. He said: “[Donald Trump] is all for exclusion rather than inclusion, that was a big part of his early campaign to exclude people from the country. It is the same sort of mentality here, rather than being the open plan inclusive estate it’s all about exclusion. It is an open plan estate here.
“There hasn’t been any sort of fencing before. The feeling is it creates a precedent for much more fencing to go up. As soon as I realised the fence was up I contacted the city council and they said they would look into it. They then contacted me to say it was a legal fence.”

just by looking at him, you can clearly see he has mental issues. to quote Robert Frost: “Good fences make good neighbors.”
Move to the country dude, if you don’t want a neighbors fence in your face.
Fast-forward to the end of the story:
Neighbor in the fenced-in back yard begins chanting, “Twelve! Twelve! Twelve! Twelve!” This idiot, not knowing how to mind his own business, peeks through a knot-hole in the fence to see what’s going on. He is immediately poked in the eye with a stick.
As he clutches his face in pain, the neighbor continues chanting, “Thirteen! Thirteen! Thirteen! Thirteen!”
See? Happy ending!
I’m sure there are worse things, but living next to a psycho is pretty high up on that list.
I’ll take the Mexicans on all sides of my property, thank you very much.
More and more we are told by the gubmint or nosy neighbors what we can and can’t do with our property. I have a neighbor who is constructing a garage that we do not want to see but tough toenails for us. it is his property and it abides by building codes in place. you gotta walk the walk for your opinions to be valid when REALLY important things are discussed.
I’m building a carport – without a permit. It won’t be as good as a Trump carport but it will keep the snow off my truck this winter.
If I had neighbors that close, I’d have a big fck’n fence too.
Sometimes voyeurs get really angry when you block their view of your windows.
I for one cannot fault the guy from wanting to block his view of the architectural nightmare out back.
Wait until Mo, his 4 wives and 20 kids move in next door, the crybaby will be all about fences then.
Typical prog trying to impose his will upon others.
I suspect he will never let it go, perhaps even getting his way.
Hmm, I’m thinking there was probably a good reason his neighbour decided on a fence instead of a hedge. Looking at the guy there were probably several.
He acts like Trump’s border fence is a bad thing. I do not agree.
