Manafort: We’re Working With Mitch McConnell

NoisyRoom: Paul Manafort is the new head of Donald Trump’s campaign. A longtime Washington insider and heavy duty lobbyist for third world dictators, Manafort appeared this morning on Fox News Sunday and inadvertently let slip some revealing truths.

MANAFORT: …What we’re trying to do right now is work with the Mitch McConnells who we didn’t depose in Kentucky even though he won the election and we worked with him to put a unity slate together. We’re trying to bring the party together. That’s what —

WALLACE: Wait, because I think this is interesting. You’re saying that you’re working with the Senate majority leader, who to a lot of the grassroots is a symbol of the problem? read more

  1. MJA “wins” with another HELF-TRUTH (LIE) OUT OF CONTEXT TO SMEAR THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN.

Manafort clearly said he met with MANY of the current GOP to “massage them” (my paraphrasing) into getting more comfortable with Trump, showing that he can get along with them if they try to get along with him. They ARE supposed to be in the same Party, y’know(after forcing Trump to sign a “loyalty oath” and then constantly trying to destroy his campaign NOTWITHSTANDING).

  2. p.s

I heard the interview yesterday LIVE with Chris Wallace.

Noisy Room is BEYOND “in the tank” for Cruz.

    What a cheap shot.
    MORE desperation from the
    CRUZ/GOPe camp of LOSERS.

  3. TO Menderman

Since you heard the interview, I trust you heard Manafort say he went through all these gyrations as a olive branch and effort to build bridges…and now YOU and the smearing, deceitful, Cruz-addicted media WANT TO BLAME Trump/Manafort FOR IT?!?

    REALLY?

“Thanks” (/s) for ONE MORE REASON
never to trust the GOPe or its defenders.

  4. So last month, the establishment wanted Cruz to apologize to McCConnell for calling Mitch a liar. They really wanted to get behind Ted to stop Trump. And Cruz refused. That is his prerogative, though it seems petulant, impolitic and, well…Trumpish.

In fact, we might be seeing the Donald getting his sea-legs at about the same time the sham Cruz/GOPe alliance crumbles from its preposterousness. Cruz has made many enemies, and Manafort looks like the guy who can exploit that.
