Manhattan garage worker charged with attempted murder after shooting thief

Alba spent six days in Rikers before Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg dropped the controversial murder charge amid intense public pressure to do so.

NY Post: A Manhattan parking garage attendant who was shot twice while confronting an alleged thief — then wrestled the gun away and opened fire on the suspect — has been charged with attempted murder, police said.

The overnight worker, identified by cops as Moussa Diarra, 57, was also hit with assault and criminal possession of a weapon charge in the Saturday incident, which unfolded around 5:30 a.m. as the attendant saw a man peering into cars on the second floor of the West 31st Street garage, the sources said.

Believing the man was stealing, the attendant brought him outside and asked what was inside his bag.

Instead of cooperating, the man pulled out a gun, the sources said.

Diarra tried to grab for the weapon, and it went off — leaving him shot in the stomach and grazed in the ear by a bullet before he turned the firearm on the would-be thief and shot him in the chest, sources said. more here

  1. I read that the NY judge hearing Trump’s case is talking about putting a gag order on Trump.
I’m beginning to think they want a civil war?

Of course, the powers that be noticed how many people cowered and didn’t push back during covid.
They think they have the whip hand…

  2. da-dindu, hang up some chucky cheese/kfc/waffle house signs in yo “court-room” when yo chimp-out “trial” starts up. then you & the rest of the judge/jury/prostitutor chimps can demonstrate some tnb in the proper setting. remember to twerk before standing for the pledge, asshole.

  3. How can a judge put a gag order on a defendant about his own case? Aren’t cases supposed to be open to scrutiny?

Or is it easier to railroad a defendant if he can’t talk about the case? It’s not as though there is a matter of national security here although the government seems to find matters of national security whenever they want to hide something from the public.

  4. Update – Bragg is not pressing charges.
But likely only because it made the news. He had that guy last year imprisoned at Rikers and with a large bail amount – the 70 year-old guy defending himself against a large, muscular 0bamason – until the outrage finally forced him to release the guy.

  5. Classic anarchotyranny. Where the criminal element are officially protected and allowed to run amok while anyone opposing them is destroyed by the “legal” (sic) system.

  6. I’m Shaunqueefus on Gateway Pundit, and we talk ebonics when we have to. I worked in DC and Ballmer for 21 years. An’ shit, yo! You know what I be sayin? Bitch-azz chicken eatin mofo!

  7. The bribe-taking gluttonous Uncle Alvin Bragg is trying to showcase himself (again) by offering up for sacrifice a black man (Diarra) who did nothing except try to defend himself. If any trial occurs regarding Prez T, it will be exposed that Alvin Bragg is in ChinaMoneyJoe’s pocket and was ordered to hide exculpatory evidence regarding Prez T. ChinaMoneyJoe Biden will also be exposed as the corrupt braggart fake potus that he really is.
