GREENBELT, Md. — A federal judge sentenced Marilyn Mosby, the former top prosecutor in Baltimore City, to one year of home detention and 3 years of supervised release to be served concurrently, after two perjury convictions and a mortgage fraud conviction.

Judge Lydia Kay Griggsby presided over the entire case dating back to January 2022 when Mosby was first indicated.

Prosecutors argued Mosby should be required to give up the property following her mortgage fraud conviction in February 2024. Mosby bought the condo in February 2021 for $476,000 in Long Boat Key, Fl.
Prior to the hearing, prosecutors indicated Mosby would get her $47,600 down payment back, if the condo is sold for a profit, according to the court documents.
Her defense team noted that since Mosby’s original purchase price of the condo at $476,000, Redfin estimates the property to be worth $886,084 and Zillow estimates the property is worth $781,800.”

Her sentence should REQUIRE her to live out her life in the worst ghetto of ‘Baltmore’ so that the natives can do what they do to her.
If the home detention is in Baltimore, it might be worse than prison.
