Marxine’s campaign to pay $68K for violating campaign finance laws

FOX-

Progressive California Rep. Maxine Waters’ campaign has agreed to pay a $68,000 fine after an investigation found it violated multiple election rules.

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) said the longtime House lawmaker’s 2020 campaign committee, Citizens for Waters, ran afoul of several campaign finance laws in a tranche of documents released Friday.

The FEC accused Citizens for Waters of “failing to accurately report receipts and disbursements in calendar year 2020,” “knowingly accepting excessive contributions” and “making prohibited cash disbursements,” according to one document that appears to be a legally binding agreement that allows both parties to avoid going to court. read more

  1. They just can’t break those old habits of being liars and crooks cuz the Øbamboozler/Jackass Joe regime never held them or anybody else to task! Hell, the feckless, jug-eared, dog-eating, Jihad-coddling, pResident Rainbow Golfcart even drew a red line, pink line, salmon line, maroon line and a yellow line in the sand then refused to back any of it with actions!

  2. So, exactly how much money did she get while violating campaign finance laws?

If it was less than $68,000, how much less? I bet it was much more.

I want to know that they retrieved every penny of the ill-gotten gain AND a hefty fine (equal to or higher) than her take. THAT would be justice.

  3. This isn’t news or even interesting. Washington D.C. contains the largest population of corrupt individuals anywhere in the world. It’s nothing more than the world’s largest criminal enterprise and both sides of the isle are working diligently daily to enrich themselves, family and friends at the expense of hard working tax paying citizens. They’re all very evil and selfish people.

  4. Bad_Brad, awfully bold of you assuming she’s going to pay it; I expect a Full-Sharpton from her.

Still, $86K is still a pretty cheap price to pay for such a cushy job.
