  9. SNS, quite so. I was at a couple shitholes last week when my wife had a 5mm kidney stone that needed to be broken up. Same bullshit with the masks.

    Then some fucking crypt keeper asked me how old my son is.

    “He’s 11.”

    “He can’t be in the surgery waiting room unless he’s over 12…”

    @Thirdtwin – her mask says “Black Educators Matter”. A few posts down in her feed she explains where she got it and how it makes an effective tool for trolling.

    It’s purely political around here at this point. The race doesn’t matter. No doubt how they lean if they are wearing one now. You can predict how the conversation will go is you make any comment about it. They already assume a lot about you, too.

    One sure thing about it – the conservatives are much happier people. No resting bitch faces with furrowed brows like they have.

  21. I cancelled an appointment because doctor’s offices insisted on masks. If those covidiots are that insecure, gullible, and uninformed, what else are they wrong about? At an Urgent Care those crazy leftists panicked when I walked in without a mask. They were about to soil themselves and call 911. So I pulled out a filthy rag of a mask and put it on. The fattest liberal about got sick. “What? I’ve been using this mask for 6 months and haven’t gotten covid yet.” They X-rayed my arm and got me out of there pronto.

  26. Same in Tx, RickeyG. At the dr’s office here, they insist on wearing masks, but about half the staff and other patients wear them beneath their noses, or under their chins. Silly bastards.

  27. When ever I go some place where I have to wear a mask, I make sure to pull it down when ever I have to talk to someone. Funny thing, when I get into the exam room with the doctor they always say I don’t have to wear the mask. I feel sorry for the poor bastards that have to wear them all day just to get a paycheck.

    Changed my PCP to a nurse practitioner because the group the old doc was in required the face diapers. Found someone who not only does not require the masks, but also comes to the house like the old days of “house calls” and no hassles with RX (Opioids).

    And then he said…

    Also, one of you might remember at the beginning of the Scamdemic you told me to set aside my refusal to wear the masks and get some skin cancer taken care of… Well it’s taken THREE years for them to no longer require the masks. Finally got in for an appointment and they did a bit of freezing work with the nitrogen and some cutting where I suggested I thought it was probably cancer. Got the biopsy back and surprise, surprise, it is cancer as I told them it would be. The place of this appointment doesn’t have the immediate biopsy where they can continue to cut until you come back “clean.” New appointment at the place where they have the capability and might be doing slight Van Gogh imitation.

    My point in all this is to brag on my stupidity and how far I’m willing to sometimes go to stand for something I believe in like the not wearing the face diapers. Both the kids are in medicine and no longer even try to beat me up about doing stuff cause they know the old man ain’t worth wasting your breath on to try and convince to take care of some things. So given the choice of wearing the face diaper and dealing with the skin cancer immediately or not and waiting the three years to not wear it and do the slicing & dicing without, I chose the later. Glad to finally get it done as one of the spots has been “weeping” and putting the 2.5% cortisone cream on it all this time has smarted.

    I’m too old to give a shit about looks and/or living on other people’s terms. In fact the possible new look or appearance might be a great conversation starter. Does piss the boss off as she most often just shakes her head and mumbles as she walks away.

    Could give other examples of how I can be a stubborn ass, but this one examples how much I have lost in the trust and belief I once had in the medical professions (however small it might have been)>

    So SNS, is this still short enough for the first tier level of payment?
