  1. I use faster speeds a lot on YouTube. If it is just a talking head then why not? There are so many things to watch.

His jigsaw seemed a little small to be cutting wood as thick as what he was cutting. I would have burned it out.

I find it amazing that he could just put the wood down in many cases and get it right just by eyeballing it. I could spend ten minutes measuring it and it would still be off.

  2. I wish I’d thought of this. I freehand cut planks out of logs for my cabin. With a sharp blade and steady hand it’s possible, but this would have been easier. But Windows 95 hadn’t come out yet.

  3. @Anon 4:30 PM — Ooh! Ooh! We could use a nice catalog with not only gallows, but guillotines, stocks, racks, Catherine wheels. What with populism growing globally, and politicians, bureaucrats, oligarchs, and crony capitalists the targets of growing enmity, this may be a boom market in the near future.
