14. I can remember the time when a lot of men on TV wore fedoras, but I cannot recall any real men wearing those hats in real life … can you?

    I mean, Clark Kent wore one in the ‘Superman’ serials. they wore them in the detective shows. but, very few wore them when I was a kid in the ’50’s.

    Landry was an old-school anomaly in that he wore them into the ’80’s
    btw, Landry was a cornerback for the old NY Giants back in the ’50’s. he had 32 interceptions in 80 games

15. I quit the NFL when Tom Landry did. I haven’t seen a game since and I’m a better person for it.
