5 Comments on Meanwhile, in Canada: Poilievre vs Carney

  1. Too bad that guy kept interrupting. “THIS IS IT….THIS IS THE MOMENT!” Too bad we missed the moment. It’s hard enough to listen to two people talking at the same time, 3 people talking at the same time is when I turn it off.

  2. Three things:
    1. Poilievre is a brilliant speaker, able to counter any attack calmly and factually.
    2. He is nowhere near as conservative as we would like him to be. Better than the other guy, for sure, but he has some views that we consider pretty far left.
    3. The PM is not selected by the people, but by the legislators. He will not be selected. Canadia is like California, holding on to the reins even as the ship sinks (just annihilating cliches there 🙂 ). He won’t be selected until his party holds 51% of the seats, which is a long ways off. The other guy will be the ‘sensible choice.’
