An ABC panel on Sunday openly discussed Joe Biden, the most popular president in US history, stepping aside and being replaced by another Democrat after a new NYT poll shows Trump leading in 5 crucial swing states.
The media has been given the green light to throw Joe Biden in the trash can.

I’ve made this comment before and I’ll make it again. The only value polls have right now is to show the commies how much they need to cheat.
If there even is an election (highly doubtful), they will simply manufacture the exact amount of votes to give Brandon, or whichever puppet they decide to run the victory.
And everyone will sit back, complain, write angry comments, make some snarky videos, and we’ll move on down the road to the end of America.
^ The cheating is done in real time on election night. Having said that, the media has been ramping up their criticism and scrutiny of Biden* for some time now. Expect them to shift to a more strident and urgent tone soon.

Who are the Democrats going to replace him with? Granted my interest in politics has waned over the past couple of years, but I can’t really think of a Democrat politician that (a) has no baggage or (b) is electable absent voter fraud.
Gavin Newsom? Sure, he looks the part, but his politics are pretty extreme. He’s also the governor of California, and Californians are persona non gratis in many parts of the United States. Newsom not only has failed to fix California’s problems, but has exacerbated them in many instances and even liberal Californians are fleeing the state. Finally, his platform is basically to ban everything that makes life easier or more enjoyable – I don’t think that is a winning formula.
Some old white guy like Biden? I can’t think of a high profile old white male Democrat other than Schumer, and he’s not electable outside of New York. A female? Good luck; you have Hillary, Kamala and AOC – all of whom are as abrasive as bad sand paper. A black guy? I suppose Hakeem Jeffries has a first name like “Hakeem” (which gives him a “Barack” vibe), but what has he done (again, much like that “Barack” guy) and the Democrats have not promoted him like they did Obama.
For almost 8 years now, the Democrat platform has been “we hate Donald Trump.” That’s not much of a platform given that Trump’s policies worked while Biden’s policies (or whomever is controlling Biden) haven’t. Even the Democrats signature platform plank of a green economy is being exposed as the boondoggle that it has always been, and Americans aren’t really ready to give up their cars, or heating their homes, or air conditioning, or gas stoves, or any of the other myriad conveniences that rely on petroleum only to be replaced by technology that is not reliable and ridiculously expensive.
The Democrats are stuck with trying to find someone who ostensibly promotes the Biden agenda of unfettered immigration, graft and corruption, use of federal agencies for personal/political gain, ignoring laws that don’t follow their progressive world view or general incompetence. Their best chance is to find a Democrat who will challenge Biden’s policies, but good luck with that since the “elite” won’t go for that.
Sorry about the above lengthy post. On final reflection, the only old white guy the Democrats could replace Biden with would seem to be Mitch McConnell. McConnell would probably accept.
