New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez has been found guilty on all 18 counts in his federal bribery and corruption trial.
A court officer sent a short note to media outlets saying a verdict has been reached and “the verdict will be announced shortly.”
At closings on Wednesday, Menendez’s lawyer cited patriotism as a reason to acquit his client, telling a federal jury that it would be a “win for this country” if it rejects the government’s bribery case against the Democrat. More

They are doing this to send a message. The magnitude of the corruption makes this shrink to insignificance.
He deserves this and mere, I’m just pointing out how large what they are going apoplectic over Trump over is. Trump threatens to derail the gravy train. That is what they are worried about.
Mendendez got sloppy, arrogant and greedy. He probably thought his criminal behavior wasn’t going to be prosecuted. He brought to much attention to himself and the Deep State. Now he’s in the deep doo-doo he deserves.
99th, of those 3 traits, arrogance is always the Achilles heel.

I hope for OUR sake (not Dirty Bob’s) that he finds someone in the DOJ with the authority to (a) reduce his sentence in exchange for lots and lots of singing, and (b) hide him away so the “suicide” squads don’t get him. If there is such a person, he’d damned well better hurry.
