WIKI- In July, 2018 Benny underwent DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation to treat Parkinson’s disease) which minimized the tremors, but unfortunately complications from the extensive surgeries created numerous other balance, stability, confusion, and pain issues. After surgery, Benny suffered multiple falls including one that dislocated his hip and shattered his pelvic bone. Continued dislocations and several surgeries later, Benny remains bedridden fighting infections, and awaiting yet another surgery for a complete hip replacement.

You can get married at 14 in N Carolina and plenty of states allow marriage at age 16 and under. If both people are around the same age I guess I can understand it. How does this jibe with statutory rape laws?
I met the guy in 2002 at a broadcasting convention. He was wearing a mauve leisure suite (in 2002!) and his face was caked with makeup. I was talking to a friend of mine and Benny was very effusive about what a great guy my friend was and how he was one of the best in the industry.
My friend said, “He’s full of shit.”
I replied, “He is right.”
“Yeah, but you’ve known me for ten years. He just met me two days ago!”
That being said, I do not wish him ill. I hope he recovers, at least to a certain extent.
