A Michigan woman who lied about being raped in the parking lot of a Michigan college was sentenced on Monday to a 45-day jail term.
Mary Zolkowski, 21, pleaded guilty to fabricating the sexual assault she reported as having transpired outside Delta College in Bay City, Michigan, Fox News reported. More at Breitbart.

If the male was convicted, he would have gotten 5 to 10 years..? Yet she got only a month and a half. ????

It’s better then the nothing she would have gotten a few years ago. At lease she can never hold a security clearance or likely to travel to another country (Canada for example, would likely refuse her entry), hold no job where a clean record is required and is required to disclose her criminal record where required.
Besides, a precedent is now on display for all the other ladies who figure lying about rape is an easy way to get revenge or cancel out a bad decision about who to sleep with.
