I don’t think you can get a mistrial because the prosecutor is shown to be prejudiced. You can have a huge fuckup though if you try to overcharge which I bet they do. He’s currently charged with third degree murder or manslaughter and they likely will have a tough time making that stick when it’s shown his putting a knee to his neck for ten minutes was not the cause of death. Having said that I’ll bet Ellison tries to up the charge then makes a play to try the case in the papers. When it fails it will be Black Friday Shopping again.
Ellison is auditioning to be Biden’s VP. It’s all about stoking the base for massive turnout.
I just want to point out that Chuck Todd disagrees with Ellison being VP. He wants Val Demings to be the VP. He wants Ellison to be the nation’s Attorney General.
