Missing Chinese Rights Lawyer’s Sister Commits Suicide

NTD: Renowned human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng’s elder sister killed herself in May 2020, after facing years of pressure from the Chinese regime.

Gao represented vulnerable groups in China, including disabled children, dismissed workers, victims of forced demolitions, Falun Gong adherents, house Christians, among others. He was detained multiple times by authorities as a result of his advocacy. He disappeared in August 2017 and is suspected to be detained, though his whereabouts are unknown.

The news was made known on Jan. 1 by Gao’s wife, Geng He, via her Twitter account.

Geng fled mainland China with their then-16-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son to Thailand with the help of friends on Jan. 9, 2009. The family successfully arrived in the United States that March and were later accepted as refugees. more

  1. The commie bolsheviks in the US are using the same playbook the chinese are and the russians did under lenin. Which is to squelch all dissent using however much force it takes.

    We are either going to live under bolshevik rule or a Pinochet or Franco will rise up to save us. It is one or the other. Hoping for peace in this is a fantasy.

    Of course any American Pinochet or Franco would have to take a little bit of a different form than the originals because the military in the US has so many bolsheviks in it. How that would work, i don’t know. But Boshevism cannot be allowed to stand.

  2. A few news outlets have been reporting that in several cities around the world there has been many large gatherings and parades in support President Trump. He provided a light of hope for many.

    Now when Obama came into office he had large crowds gathered to see him {mostly Europe} But Obama had no such indicators of support when he left office, neither here or anywhere else. Unlike Trump, You could conclude {correctly} the world was glad to see him go.

  3. We wake up in the morning an realize we’re surrounded by electronic devices watching and listening to our every move and utterance. Surveillance cameras tracking our movements while we’re travelling about outdoors.
    We look at the election we just participated in and realize it was an exercise in futility {“Sure, go ahead and vote if it makes you feel like it makes a difference, we’ll decide who holds office, not you rabble”}
    Broadcasting mediums all blaring half truths or outright lies specifically to anesthetize your brain and disable critical thinking.
    Suicide is an act of complete and crushing despair and loss of all hope. That feeling is the product of heavy handed government.
    We are now existing in the western version of China.
