If they were immigrants (regardless of the age they came) I hope to hell the day they are released they are cuffed and put on a plane back to wherever the hell they came from. No appeals, no stays, no time to get their affairs in order (that should already have been done). They get stripped of their US citizenship (do a deal with the country being deported to ensure they have some sort of citizenship) and their kids (if born in the US and under 18) can stay with acceptable relatives or go to foster homes preferably Christian ones or go with the parents) if over 18 they’re adults and can choose what they want to do.
