An Oklahoma woman accused of killing her 18-year-old son and wounding her two teenage daughters claimed she shot her children in their heads as they slept to protect them from their abusive father, authorities said Friday.
Amy Leann Hall, 38, shot her son, Kayson Toliver — a star athlete and honor student — in his bed early Thursday morning, the Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office said in an affidavit. He was found dead when police arrived at the home about 35 miles outside Tulsa.
After shooting her son, Hall then shot a 16-year-old daughter in her head while she slept, according to the affidavit. The girl remained in serious condition Friday.
A 14-year-old daughter managed to escape into a bathroom and began to cry, the affidavit said. The girl told her mother “it was OK,” then left the bathroom and was able to take a pistol from Hall.
Her murder plan interrupted, Hall left the scene in a vehicle reaching speeds close to 100 mph until police stopped her several miles from the home, FOX 23 Tulsa reported. Police then took her into custody.
Hall claimed she was trying to “save” her children from their abusive father, the station reported. She said she also intended to kill herself.

When this goes to trial her attorney only has to be sure to only have democrats on the jury…she’ll be out on time served.
Everyone knows that men are evil and women are angels, so it sounds like a reasonable story to me.
Convict the mom for murder, and then severely beat the family court judge who let the kids live with her for two years for not listening to the dad. Many judges automatically give custody to the mom even in the face of evidence of abuse by the mother.
But then again, according to progressives all bat shit crazy women should be believed regardless of the conseqences.

If you look at her FB page you would think she was a great Mom, but reading what friends and those who knew the family say both parents aren’t much to write home about. Both addicted to drugs, hers seemed to be pills, his meth.
Supposedly the night before she shot them the son put a picture on snapchat with him crushing pills and captioning it with, “Sorry Mom.”
However, they say she was obsessed with her son and didn’t like him talking about going off to college.
The oldest daughter was listed as brain dead yesterday morning and they said they took her off life support yesterday afternoon.
I don’t care how drugged up you are or how crazy you are, there is no rehabilitating someone who would shoot their own kids in the head. She needs to get her speedy trial and then a needle in her arm.

When my ex and I were beginning divorce proceedings I talked to my lawyer about trying to gain custody of my kids (I had a job; my ex did not). He told me that unless it could be proven that she was involved in criminal activity no judge would grant me custody. Bastards. The crap my kids had to go through…

I concur with the idea of beating the hell out of the family court judge. Kids aren’t stupid at 17 years and 364 days of age and then magically enlightened one day later.
