3. We lived in France in the early 60s because they still had American military there. We went to Mont St. Michel and actually stayed there. We were there when the water came up. For me, a little girl, it was quite exciting! There was a very old well known yesterday that specialized in omelettes. All in all, it was a great trip!

4. Even for those who are not religious, the Mont St Michel is a phenomenal place to visit. I was there in 1987. The city of Minas Tirith in the LOTR films was patterned about the Mont St Michel.
