Why would they “tranquilize and relocate” him? He was obviously not trying to attack those women, in fact, he outpaced them!

The poor little Moose only weighed around 2500 pounds. those snowboarders should consider themselves REAL FORTUNATE!

I think it considered them a challenge.
The moose was simply getting out of Dodge by staying on the best surface for running. If it had gone off the trail into the soft snow, it would have been slowed down considerably.
Up here in North Maine, we have to contend with them on frozen snowmobile trails.
I’ve followed them for miles, even stopping to let them rest before them finally getting off the trail.
Yeah, what if that moose thought there was an avalanche about to happen? He’s not sticking around to help.
