My name in Yon Yohnson, I live in Wisconsin, I work in a lumber mill there. Lots and lots of Smiths, Johnsons. Andersons, Williams, Browns, Jones’s etc. I wonder if any of the Johnsons first name is Big? (Bubba, Billy Bob, Sean Bob Johnson etc., only in the South). And in the Southwest Hispanic surnames. I’m none of the above but I know a lot of them. Aren’t you glad Kennedy, Clinton, Obama, McCain etc. aren’t common surnames?
Uhoh…if Martinez is one of the most POPULAR surnames in Colorado now, I need to get out of here! I’ll go hide in Montana. No illegals there!
Very telling that TX, NM and CA have a majority Hispanic names.
Not Hard to See where the Boder is Here !
The Wall Will Help in Southern California, But they’re Already in for the Most Part !
My last name is Nelson. I have never met a smith or Jones.
Most popular surnames by state, (in the very near future),
New York; Mohammad,
Georgia; Abdella
Michigan; Salaam
Illinois; Farooqui
@jellybean
Abella for Georgia does not compute.
Tonto. Tonto Goldstien… My friends call me ‘Bubba’.
Johnson is popular in Rock Ridge.
I’m glad I don’t have an inbred name.
Clearly, the original Smith was a PLAYA.
Hahahahaha
I thought the most popular names in the red states were Smith and Wesson.

…what? no.. er… dutch names?
That’s disappointing. :B
Well, if you go by that chart, odds are Mr Smith Will eventually go to Washington.
“Johnsons. Johnsons as far as the eye can see”
Forty years ago the most popular name in America was Johnson. But look what happens when you don’t control your borders!
