She should have held out for more.

Is there a price for everything? Would you take cash to leave your significant other? One woman did, but there is a lot to her story. The anonymous girlfriend wrote about it all Reddit, explaining how she was offered $10,000 to leave her man and she took it. And the person who made the offer? It was her fiance’s mom. The woman explained how she had met her boyfriend in college and they dated for a few years before he popped the question. At the time, she was aware his parents weren’t too into her. She said that she is Cuban and he is from a traditional Asian family and his wealthy mom and dad didn’t “accept” her. The woman added, “They made it very clear that they thought I was not worthy of him and for the years I dated him they treated me like a sub-human.” She went on to note how it “never bothered” her and she figured she loved him so they could get through it, plus he never seemed to really care what they said about her either.
However, after they got engaged, things changed with her fiance. She described it in her post saying, “He became extremely controlling. He wanted to know where I was almost every moment of the day, at one point he even said after we are married he wants to schedule out my day so he knows where I am at all times.” It got even worse.
@MJA – I couldn’t agree more: she should’ve held out for bigger bux.
My mother Sara offered Eleanor a sizeable sum of money to take a powder. When Babs refused, she became the MIL from Hell.
Ironically, Mother is back home and we’re all together again.
BREAKING
NANCY is babbling on TV
^^^ I know. But I haven’t had my coffee yet.
^ Slow on the uptake this morning? 😀
My mother told me if I married DH, that I would be miserable for the rest of my life. I married him, we’ve been married for 50 years. I realized that she was the one who tried to make my life miserable. She never had anything nice to say about any of my siblings spouses. One went so far as to move to another state to get away from her. None of us have anything to do with her. Respect begets respect. I washed my hands of her 6 years ago – it’s been great and stress free.
What happened to diversity equals happiness?
haha ..”low-balling”. Thats a new one. Is that a new term for her on top??? Or is that sex on the lower level?
If I tried to map out my wife’s day, she’d dropkick me.
For health reasons, my ex-wife and I agreed to only smoke after sex. I had the same pack for five years.
I was worried about her though. She was up to three packs a day.
@Goldenfoxx similar story for me except I first went to another continent and then came back to US 1/2 way across the country.
In every single case i’ve ever heard of where a spanish woman gets mixed up with an asian man, this is the result.
No worry, she’ll find a nice Arab boy in Michigan.
LOL@ Mickey. Coffee everywhere.
Now I have to start all over.
Goldenfoxx, Eugenia
Oh, that sucks. Sorry you had to go through all that.
Yeah, Orange Chicken and Tacos do not go together!
My in laws offered my fiancée a new car not to marry me. We just celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary (sept.24). They got divorced 28 years ago.
@mickey Moussaoui
I used to smoke after sex. Then I started using a lubricant.
