It’s just too dang cold there! But I did move – and lo and behold, my new city of Charleston elected its first Republican mayor in 150 years last month! And overall the state is red.
Apparently REI in my old home town of Santa Monica is closing. Specifically because they have problems with theft and with vagrants in the store, everything has locks on it.

I was wondering why he didn’t incorporate “Minnesota” into his rhyming scheme, then I realized how irrational that would be to moving away from blue state insanity.

He likes the small town life, the fact he can afford an apt and he says people are nicer than New England.
I’ve joined several “Moving To” groups on FB last year. First, Montana, Idaho but this past week added Wyoming and South Dakota to the mix.
After an eye opening trip to the Midwest last month I’m really struggling with reasons to remain in western WA.
