NewsBusters: RESTON, VA – The Media Research Center (MRC) announces the findings of a new post-election poll on what actual voters thought about the media’s influence on the 2016 presidential race. The MRC/YouGov poll was conducted on November 9 and 10.
Key findings:
- 7 in 10 (69%) voters do not believe the news media are honest and truthful.
- 8 in 10 (78%) of voters believe the news coverage of the presidential campaign was biased, with nearly a 3-to-1 majority believing the media were for Clinton (59%) vs. for Trump (21%).
- Even 1/3 (32%) of Clinton voters believe the media were “pro-Clinton.”
- 8% of Trump voters said they would have voted for Clinton if they had believed what the media were saying about Trump.
- 97% of voters said they did not let the media’s bias influence their vote. more
21% of the voters thought the media was biased in favor of TRUMP? Who are these people? What media? Do they know what media means?
Even with lost viewers, polls showing the dishonest media and obvious bias of there reporting, the Mainstream media has not made one change in their broadcast.

If I were a MSM executive, the finding that 97% were not influenced by the media would be more disturbing that the other conclusions. This is what they tried to do – influence the election – and they failed because people don’t believe them.
But, being typical leftists, they will search for other reasons other than their obvious bias. It’s Comey’s fault, it’s racism, it’s sexism, the electoral college needs to be changed, etc., etc. Anything but the conclusion that most of America has rejected their policies.
The obvious remedy is to fire the Editors, the CEOs, the Boards of Directors, the prejudiced TV telecasters,the news writers, the ones in charge, and most of all the owners. Rupert and the rest of the socialists need to leave America and return to their own countries to hide. We despise them. President Elect Trump will see to it that these impostors will have no place at the table. They can hide and snipe all they want..NO ONE READS THEIR CRAP. NO ONE LISTENS. Piss off!
If this data say they only had a 3% success rate of changing minds what is their rationale going forward? Why are they bothering? Are they just content to keep going on air every day to harass Trump and his supporters?
Are they going to attempt to become more subtle? Subliminal messaging? Or will they eventually just sit there and yell at the cameras “you suck! we hate you! You’re stupid! We’re smart! Trump is an orange buffoon! We hope you die!”
We still need to destroy the lying media. Stop watching. Boycott sponsors. That local car dealer that advertises on the 5 o’clock news; call him, tell him your buying from somebody that doesn’t fund liars.
Let the local restaurants they’re backing propagandist.
And start talking to your kids who think everything on tv must be true!
