  1. The point isn’t how long it took them to make this commitment, but that they were willing to do it at all. Just imagine all the corporate money that will be denied them now that they’ve chosen to not just defy the received wisdom, but to be a leader in rejecting the insanity. How much air-time do you think they will receive for any of their events by the networks and other giant corporate controlled outlets? I bet a lot less than what little they were getting before.

Watch, the NCAA will make a play for all the schools who are members of the NAIA in an attempt to lure them away with promises of fat sponsorships / scholarships and guaranteed placement on TV. All to punish if not destroy the NAIA to make the point to all others not to buck the system set up to define the culture.

I hope the NAIA survives this.

  2. Their narcissism and blind arrogance inculcated the progressive movement with the notion that they could get away with anything no matter how absurd. The pendulum is going to swing back and with hopefully far enoug and hard enough to drive the child grooming perverts and pedophiles completely out of the mainstream and once again identify them for what they are. People to be shunned, if not actively removed from society. They thought that the Overton Window had been moved permanently and hopefully this is indication they seriously miscalculated.
