Washington Nationals player Ryan Zimmerman, who hit the first World Series home run in Nationals franchise history, thanked President Trump for “continuing to make America the greatest country in the world” at the White House Monday afternoon.

Washington Nationals’ catcher Kurt Suzuki wore a MAGA hat while speaking at the White House’s welcoming ceremony for the World Series champions.

    Suzuki is one of the better “clutch” hitters on the team and for once, Zimmerman didn’t strike out…

  5. It’s great that some ballplayers are patriots. Why not all? Anybody who makes it to the Majors is doing pretty good. Why not feel good about the country that made it possible?

    But I really like that the United States Marine Corps band, the President’s own, played a 3 minute version of ‘Baby Shark’. Really funny.

  7. Steve Strasburg, World Series MVP, showed that even though Doolittle didn’t show up at least one shithead did. He looked right at PDT, Trump reached out to shake his hand, and strasburg turned and walked away. What a little bitch!

    I guess he had second thoughts, later he went back and shook his hand. His significant other must have scolded him and told him to get back up there and shake the President’s hand!

  9. Even though I proclaimed the Nats, “dead to me” at the close of last season, I did watch the series (first world series I have watched in years). First time in history that both teams won “away” games and lost their “home” games…. unbelievable! Personally I think Rendon is the most under-rated player in the league and I hope washington can hold on to him.

  10. I’d like to thank the ‘Nats (the vast majority of the team; there is always a few jerks in any team) to show up & celebrate their first World Series in franchise history w/ PDT.

    Ryan Zimmerman (my favorite Nat) is the only one on the team that has been a National since they moved from Montreal & started the 2005 season in DC. Zimmerman was their first round draft pick in 2005.
