Top leadership at the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) informed active duty and retired service members that they cannot condemn President Joe Biden amid the chaotic — and now deadly — pullout of American troops from Afghanistan.

Well I didn’t retire from the army and I’m no longer in, and I don’t work for oni. So, I hope Biden and all the people in the decision chain for the mess in Afghanistan are held fully responsible and dragged by their nostrils to a life sentence in prison, at a minimum. Malfeasance, misfeasance, negligence, and dereliction of duty are obvious.

Yes, I remember some of my UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice). Seems to me (as I remember), that ACTIVE officers aren’t allowed to criticize the CiC (undermining chain of command, and all that). But since WHEN did RETIRED officers get roped into the same Article 88? Anything is possible, and in today’s upside down environment, I’d believe it if it happened.
If the officers feel that strongly to criticize the CiC, then maybe they could resign their commission, and no longer be officers in the US military, active OR retired. BUT…..they’d best have their retirement Golden Parachute prepped for a crash landing, with lots of money and investments saved aside.

Retired military are subject to UCMJ, at least as long as they continue to draw a pension. I did four years Air Force and three years Army Nat’l Guard, but I didn’t retire, and I don’t draw a pension, so I’m free to say that Biden earned himself a place in hell long before this cluster-fuck.
