NFL fans took to social media to slam NBC for skipping Lindsey Stirling’s halftime show for the Thanksgiving game between Miami Dolphins and Green Bay Packers.
Those inside the stadium at Lambeau Field hailed the performance by the violinist but for the millions watching at home after enjoying their Thanksgiving dinners, it was all a disappointment.
The broadcaster only a showed a few seconds of Stirling’s big moment, instead opting for a feature about Dolphins fullback Alex Ingold during halftime. More
At least someone in the stands posted parts of the performance. Here and Here
Looks to me like she really lit the place up. Shame on you NBC. – Dr. Tar
Detroit and Dallas both had stages set up for their halftime shows. The Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders …Oh my!
I absolutely adore Lindsey’s talent.
I have been following her music for about 12 years now.
Her violin/dubstep is terrific. I especially like her songs Shadows, Elements and Crystallize.
She also has an amazing homage to Phantom of the Opera.
It’s a shame NBC passed on showcasing her talent.
Her YouTube channel has some really good music and great location shots for her videos.
I hope she is able to post the performance from the stadium camera to her website for her fans to see what she intended to send out to the nation last night. – Dr. Tar
Who the hell watches that stuff anymore anyway? Y’all got better things to do until all the woke is gone. Make then go broke. Heroes aren’t heroes, it’s all been reduced to the lowest common denominator.
The fight to Make America Great Again has just begun. It will get worse before it gets better. Game on.
NBC proves time and again that it really knows how to fuck up a WET DREAM. This time not televising the halftime show of a great artist.
Well of course they’re not going to give her any air time . She’s white, she’s not twerking (thank the dear Lord ) , she’s not singing about her wet vajaja and she’s performing a good wholesome family half time show .
I try to never watch the half-time shows.
I don’t feel I missed anything.
Another person in the stands has posted her performance from a different angle. What impressed me was for how cold it was these performers really gave it their all. Watch their breath as they perform in in the wind and snow in sub-freezing temperatures.

I was in marching band in high school (trumpet) and playing in the freezing cold is a bitch.
Lindsey even had a short post, apologizing that her toe pointed were floppy towards the end of the performance.
She said that by the end, her legs were numb from the cold.
All in all, still a great performance.
