Sen. Mike Lee might ask the U.S. attorney general to investigate the controversial Netflix show “Cuties” for possibly violating child exploitation laws.
The Utah Republican also called on the media services giant to cease distributing the movie “in the interest of protecting children in both the United States and internationally from this horrible abuse.”
Lee said in a letter to Netflix on Friday that his staff is reviewing the French-African film released Wednesday to decide whether to refer it to federal law enforcement.
“It would be most helpful if you could provide my office with an explanation on your views as to whether or not the potential exploitation of minors in this film constitutes criminal behavior by Friday, Sept 18, 2020,” the letter says.
Cuties may be investigated for child exploitation as it was recently discovered that the casting director received videos of young girls twerking for auditions.
The girls were told they needed to introduce themselves, talk about their hobbies and then “showcase their talents.”
The girls who danced most seductively were called in for an actual screentest where they were filmed twerking.

If you are surprised by what you see in this movie, you have not payed much attention to many of the modern dance studios which dress up girls as young as toddlers in tight leotards and put on heavy make up for them to dance to hip hop music.
Took my girls to a local one for a Girl Scout outing and left in total disbelief about what they were trying to teach my 9 and 7 year old. Needless to say it was a one and only time!
This movie is nothing new. Bet many parents would see the Cuties’ dance scenes and not even blink once. Just par for the course.
