Yesterday, 24,000 people purchased an Olive Garden 9-week Never Ending pasta pass at 2:00 pm for $100. They all qualify for a chance to purchase one of 50 life time pasta pass for $400.
The volume of traffic vying to purchase the 9-week pass was so great that a number of individuals complained of site glitches the prevented them from scarfing up one for themselves. More
This is an annual offer, so better luck next year, pasta lovers.
I like pasta, but not that much…
Making your own pasta is fun-ner.
edible glue
Should come with a gym membership.
Olive Garden. Proudly microwaving catsup and noodles since 1982
It will end eventually .. most likely in a heart attack
Anticipating forthcoming bankruptcy.
Not much chance of a chimpout since it was online.
Drinks not included. Friends not included. They will make money, and the cost of the food translates to advertising.
Not as good as a 5guys cardiacburger
10 for a dollar is still the better value.
Pasta is a buck a pound. $100 for the 1st chance
+ $400 for the final chance at lifetime pastsa
= 500 pounds of pasta @ $500. A very hungry man
can manage at most 1/3 a pound at a time;
thats 1,500 very large, individual pasta servings.
I like pasta and I usually eat in one form or another
about 4 times a month. Say 50 times a year.
That’s 30 years of pasta. Add your travel costs and
the sides + beverage + tip which cost much more
than a 33.33 cent pasta serving and economically,
You Lose. Big.

You must be new here.
Our Kids Menu starters are half pounder appetizers.
Nadler bowled his way to the front of the line and bought three passes.
Our entire family sucks in maybe 2 pounds of pasta per year. They hate spag, alFREDO, and lasagna. I love lasagna and make it once a year just to test the waters and end up eating about half of it by myself and toss the rest. Most of that 2 lbs is kids w/ mac&cheese when I slack off on meal planning.

“Pasta Per Person: The Rule
Dried pasta: 75-115 g / 3-4 oz”
Over 5 oz. of dried pasta per person (including men)
is a lot of pasta.
Isn’t gluttony one of the 7 deadly sins?
OG isn’t awful, but it’s not great either. I’d just as soon fill up on their salad and breadsticks. Or eat at an authentic Italian restaurant.
ecp- Send me the other half of the lasagna!

Salient Points:
-A lifetime eating pass sounds like the sort of last-gasp attempt of a dying restaurant chain to stay solvent.
-You’re just a horrific glutton with low standards.
-Finally, you have to face the dreaded fact: It’s the Olive Garden.
Check the dumpsters in back of Olive Garden…..overflowing with empty cans of Chef Boy R Dee. (Pardon my spelling.)
