Not “disoriented and dazed”, for Godsake, they were dazed and confused!
I wonder if R. P. “Mac” McMurphy had anything to do with this.

lederhosen on the top of their heads was a dead give away, plus they smelled of liebfraumilch…

Ya know if I play my “Hi Fi” at work on the local rock station, I hear the exact same shit as when I was 18. For a couple years they had an “Alternative Rock” station here. “Progressive Rock”. They canceled that station. Not sure why because in my small circle everyone tuned in. Great new music by emerging bands. Now we get to listen to Led Zep, again, and again, and again.

Brad, try satellite radio; any type of music you want, when you want it. Too, Pandora will let you create your own ‘stations.’
Thanks guys, I’ll check it out. I’d be happy if the C and W stations rolled back to the 60’s. We’d hear some awesome music.
Wada racket.
XM’s channel 27 plays very good progressive rock still, I love it when I hear them play anything by Renaissance or Al Stewart etc. from the 70’s. And XM’s channel 59 Willie’s Road House plays an excellent selection of older country music from the 70’s and earlier. it’s about the only place left where you’ll still hear Hank Williams Sr., Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys on occasion, Ernest Tubb, Buck Owens, Patsy Cline, Hank Snow, Eddie Arnold etc. etc. all the old stuff I used to hate but now like. I think I’m turning into my dad the older I get listening to all the C&W classics he used to like. And I saw that RFD TV on Direct TV shows Hee Haw reruns still late on Sat. nights
Finally—- an escape from Stalag 17. Did they tunnel or go through the wire?
They went to see Steel Panther play “Gangbang At The Old Folks Home”.
If I live long enough, this will be me.
So when are The rolling Stones going to start their geriatric tour? And play Indian casinos to boot. Can you imagine all the old dumbass baby boomers still trying to dance and sing along to I Can’t Get No satisfaction, Jumping Jack Flash etc. if they can even jump or hear the music anymore. And will Keith Richards still be partially alive or finally totally dead from all the drugs he’s ingested over the past 50+ years? They could call it The Pull The Plug tour.
Deaf Leppards
btw… Rolling Stones geriatric tour was called Superbowl XL.

Came home from a trip one time with about 8 cd’s of (underground) rock tours by the big 60’s names in Berlin and Potsdam. Awesome music and I still listen to some on my ipod.
30 minutes of “Roland the Headless Gunner” does it for me.
R’n’r. is” Pat Boone, Elvis, Bill Haley, Chuck Berry, Dwayne Eddy, Little Richard. – who are these guys. heavy meatal?
You forgot Buddy Holly.
My mother-in-law passed away at a nursing home after over 9 years of Alzheimer’s disease wiping out virtually All her humanity.
We could turn on some Elvis music (CD or YouTube) and she would get rocking big time. It got to be our only way to bring her out of a slump.
We could do the same thing with my mom who had serious dementia before she died in May by playing Tennessee Ernie Ford songs, it really worked in helping calm her down.
