Awesome idea. I might have to move to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and try the same thing.
They’ll just need to make sure they’re careful about CA libidiots moving in.
Republicans should be helping with this. Another spot would be east Oregon and Washington. Another could be Orange County east to western Arizona. Southern Colorado and northern New Mexico. That would add 4 new red states.
Northern Maine is pretty red. Lots of undeveloped land too.
Jason – my wife’s parents were from the UP (Munising/Hubbel) and we would happily move to there if not for the lower peninsula. Let us hope that massive separations and secessions happen all over the nation. Other than Rhode Island, EVERY state needs to be split apart for the sake of the citizens. CA could stand to be at LEAST 5 separate states if not more like 25.
