No leftist really believes in GW. The proof is in their solutions. There are far more effective solutions than anything I have ever heard proposed. It would be so easy to mandate an immediate end to recreational activities that create CO2 (or whatever pollutant they care about), without dramatic impact on our quality of life. But instead they insist upon driving prices up, which demolishes the extremely poor and harms the middle class but has little impact on the elite. And all of the loudmouths belong to the financial elite.

Recently discovered and analyzed log books from South Pole explorers 100 years ago show NO change in polar ice.
A 4.5 billion year old, highly dynamic, very large subject traveling at high velocity through a variable space filled with radiation etc., isn’t something easily measured.
So, let’s give a bunch of un-trained, or semi-trained individuals (remember, all the ocean surface data was done by seamen with buckets and thermometers) non standardized thermometers, then arbitrarily change the numbers they record!
Let’s use glacial data to fill in some of the time line, never mind that glaciers cover an extremely small portion of the planet. Oh, and let’s NOT use the glacier cores that show, unmistakably, that CO2 spikes AFTER temperature does.
Then, we can use tree rings to fill in more of the time line. . . but have to stop that when the tree rings overlap the period we had untrained people using non standardized methods and instruments to measure the temperature with. . . because the tree rings indicate the OPPOSITE DIRECTION.
And closing down all those measuring stations in the arctic since the 60’s isn’t a problem, we can just make up and equation to make those areas look warmer! No worries about “heat island” effects, we’ll just make up equations to leave some of that in place.
What’s not to believe?
If I can grow palm trees in Virginia, and my neighborhood becomes an island, I still won’t give a shit about GW, because I’d be kicking back on a tropical island.
