  7. JDHasty, I believe you’re talking about the riots in Seattle that protested everything capitalist. MY brother in law, now a retired Seattle Police Officer was also involved in those riots, he loved nothing better than to rough up and arrest all those punks protesting and rioting in downtown Seattle in the mid 90’s, he was a damned good cop who just retired after 30 years on the Seattle P.D. Because he was Catholic he almost became a Jesuit Priest (Gonzaga University is a Jesuit college) before he became a cop just like my late wife almost became a Nun, it’s a darned good thing neither became a Priest or a Nun.

    The granddaddy of modern day Seattle rioting was 1999 and the WTO Riots. There were a few precursors to that shindig and one of them was after the Newt Gingrich Contract With America mid-term wipeout of Democrats in 1994

  13. Thanks for clarifying that. I love going to Seattle on occasion, I have a brother who lives there and I go to a Mariners game every so often but at the same time I’m always glad to get out of there as soon as possible and back over to Eastern Washington. And they have an IKEA there in Kent which my daughter really likes which she hopes IKEA will rectify by building one in Post Falls, Id. just across the state line next to the Cabela’s. I don’t know how you put up with the traffic over there I-405 is a major league cluster fuck as if I-5 isn’t bad enough.

  16. I hoped someone would make a series of ads highlighting leftist violence and I’m glad someone got things rolling here but unfortunately this first ad falls a little short.

    News junkies like us know all about leftist violence because conservative sites have been documenting it for years. But since there’s been a news blackout about it in the MSM, these instances of violence need a quick context so that people unfamiliar with it will know instantly what they are seeing. If the point is to persuade, what is presented must be clear. It wouldn’t take much.

    For instance, the guy caught on camera doing the roundhouse kick, we know he was kicking a pro-life woman but in this ad there’s no reference made to what’s going on. Same thing with the dark shots of Cruz and his wife, we know it’s them and we know they’re being hounded through a restaurant by a small fascist mob but those who aren’t familiar with this incident will completely miss what’s going on.

    Political ads that resonate most strongly with me are those that sound great on the radio as well as pack a punch visually. If I were tweaking this ad, I’d include audio clips of some good guys on our side talking about or mentioning the specific things we’re seeing in this ad. So when the roundhouse-kick guy is onscreen, play a brief audio clip to provide context, and when Cruz is onscreen play a brief audio clip to provide context.

    I wouldn’t antagonize the left with political ads because the point isn’t to provoke them. I’d simply show what they’re doing because, with everything they’ve done and continue to do, they still think they aren’t being ruthless enough. They’re crazy and if that can’t persuade normal democrats to walk away from what their party has become and vote Republican, I don’t know what will.

The zombies who consume news from the tainted brains of the MSM will swear on their mother’s graves that “ALL the violence comes from the RIGHT!!!11!!” We will never convince those who refuse to think for themselves, but we’re gaining a lot of people who are finally realizing what the Democrats really are.
