I don’t know why I do this to myself. This is going to require more work for me, but I think it’ll be worth it.
Music seems to be very important to our readers, so we’re going to spotlight one reader at a time and let them deejay a playlist that I will publish on our youtube channel.
I think 6 songs is a nice amount.
This is how it will work. Whenever I post “Looking For a Deejay” you can email me at bigfurhat.mail@gmail.com. I will pick a random number and say “the xth email that says MY PLAYLIST in the subject line will be tonight’s deejay.” (You’re going to have to trust me that I’m on the up and up.)
Send me either the name of the song and artist, or a direct link to a youtube video, and I’ll take it from there.
I will post a comment that will be used for people to thumb the playlist up if they enjoy your work.
Let’s try it. 4th person to email a playlist will be tonight’s deejay. Send 6 songs.
I know the first song on everyone’s list:
“Onward, Christian Soldiers”
Wow, BFH, this IS extra on your plate, but wow! Awesome!
“(You’re going to have to trust me that I’m on the up and up.)
Hey, it’s not like you are an obama, holder, reid, pelosi, mcconnel, boehner or hundreds of other political bottom feeders.
You have never caused me to question your intellect, motives, honesty or integrity.
Too Old To Cut The Mustard — Red Foley
Ya Gotta Quit Kickin’ My Dog Around — Gid Tanner
Whoop a Man’s Ass — Trace Adkins
Ain’t Goin’ Down On Brokeback Mountain — Willie Nelson
Weed With Willie — Toby Keith
The Earrings Song — Gretchen Wilson
How do you make a list and not include:
SIR MIXALOT I like big butts….,

My first song was going to be Rock and Roll Part 1 by Gary Glitter, but I changed it at the last minute when I sent the email. Hopefully you will hear my playlist.
I can’t believe there is no John Denver or ABBA
Great idea. Time to make a list and draft and email, ready to go when the call comes out.
See last sentence above…
I Fall To Pieces – Patsy Cline
Well All Right – Buddy Holly
Fanfare For The Common Man – Aaron Copland
Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring – JS Bach
I’ll Walk Beside You – Cherish The Ladies, Irish women singers

I may need some time to put together my list of Billy Joel, Eddie Money, Pink Floyd…
🙂 As always…don’t ban me Fur!
