Memorialized three of my pups for me, awhile back, and I am so glad since two of the three have passed since their sitting. They are always in my mind, as the portrait is hung on my family room wall, in prime position. Thanks, BFH. ATM

…I’ve got three BFH originals also, two dogs and one conure, and BFH even accurately depicted the jeans my little one was playing tunnel dog in! None of them have passed, thank God, but I’m very glad he captured the soulful look in the eyes of my Chihuahua, because she’s since gone blind (she’s a rescue so we don’t know, but she’s at least 15), so we forever have that thanks to BFH.
Another triumph from a gifted artist. He uses well the gift the Lord gave him, and I hope he finds it as rewarding as WE do, but if he keeps improving with age, since he’s just himself a puppy, he’ll be giving that Rembrandt fellow or that Audubon guy a run for their money…
…and what a good boy Jedi looked to be! It’s a sorrow that we lose such wonderful companions so soon, but we should rejoice that the Lord shows us his love through them at all, and teaches us grief and rememberace through them to equip us for the human losses we will have because of this sin-sick world. Treasure that painting and relive all the joy you had with Jedi whenever you see it, and his memory will bless you even now, and for the rest of your life…

Fur, you did it again. I agree with everything Truckbuddy said. “soul-capturing” is most definitely what you do.
I have all three of my fur babies portraits right above my computer where I can see them as I type. I look up and smile at the joy they all brought me.
