These paintings were created for Roger F.-
This is Merlin –
Here is Merlin again, with his sister, Marie Curious on the left.
Merlin is a giant powder puff.
Marie Curious was a stunning beauty. Sadly, she has passed.
Thank you Roger for allowing me to memorialize her.
If anyone is thinking about having a portrait done, I urge you to do it right away. With inflation, I will be raising the price to about $10,000 a painting. (I’m joking… but not about the price changing a bit. I will be, sadly, increasing them a bit in the near future.)
Go HERE to see more pet portraits and pricing. email me BigFurHat.Mail (At Gmail.com) (I separated the email address for security reasons.)
Stunningly beautiful. As always.
Awwww So much floof! I love them!
Sorry about Marie Curious. [Great name]
Thank you Ken!
You even released them from prison!
You’re a miracle worker.
yes.
Also, if you do not see your pet in the gallery, email me, please, and remind me to put them in there!!)
Fur, you are too talented for mere words! You say the eyes painted themselves; well, they used your hand to do it! And the background Merlin is in … perfect.
Bravo, sir!!
What a cool style! Love these!
BFH owns the pet portrait world.
HIs portrait of my {his, Mitchell, and Mitchell, is, for me, priceless.
Molly is gone, Phil is on the last of his last legs, cancer, but not in pain.
Mitchell is fine.
BFH’s portrait hangs prominently in my home.
Priceless.
Even adjusted for inflation still worth every cent! Keep up the great work!
…Mr. Hat does the best interpretations of sometimes not great pictures, and really captures the character in the body and the soul in the eyes in particular. He also excels in background improvement and demonstrates his talents reach far beyond just the pets themselves. I have 3 of his works and want to get more if I ever get my paintings situated in my new digs, but I’m forever grateful he captured my Mini before she first went blind with age, then when she passed recently. A link to that is below. I’m willing to bet Rodger feels the same way about having a memorial to Marie Curious in the same way.
We are usually fated to outlive our fur (and feather!) babies, but we never forget them, and this is a fitting tribute to the love they share with us during their too short time of abiding, and on behalf of all we pet parents who know and love your work, I thank you for providing this level of artwork to we Hoi polloi animal lovers and encourage everyone who has a particularly beloved or missed friend to get in touch with him, you won’t be disappointed.
God Bless you Fur.

Fantastic paintings…as always.
Thank you SNS. Sincerely.
Eye of the tiger and tigress.
Their beauty almost makes me cry.
Big fur hat is simply the greatest. Absolutely the greatest. I am baffled how well actually does the fur on these animals is so real.
I am curious Marie Curious, and her recent death, since all white cats are prone to suffer “white cat syndrome” and I hope Roger did not have to go through with Marie Curious. It’s inflammation of the entire esophagus stomach intestinal canal. I just buried my beautiful snowball. Her death long, and laborious and I don’t believe she weighed even 2 pounds at death. It was awful. Nothing could be done.
So sorry Caroleigh.
Great work BFH! The floof is extraordinary! I love how their personalities shines through.
( Gosh @Caroleigh, that’s so sad. ❤️❤️)
Beautiful paintings of beautiful cats.
