This is a classic example of an older guy with too much time on his hands. His old lady must’ve gotten tired of him hanging around the house annoying her and told him to go out and play in traffic. I bet it was fun though except for stopping at the porta potty, He should’ve remembered the first rule before you go anywhere as voiced by millions of parents everywhere is to always use the bathroom before you leave home.
