DC: Democratic House candidate Gareth Rhodes has made climate change a campaign issue while simultaneously driving hundreds of miles in a 1999 Ford Winnebago.
Rhodes — who is mounting a challenge for GOP Rep. John Faso’s seat in New York’s 19th congressional district — has joined other Democrats in calling for more action to combat climate change. Rhodes believes human don’t have time to wait when it comes to saving the environment, and he is striving for a “fossil-fuel-free future,” according to his campaign website. The New York Democrat, who is currently in a primary battle for his party’s nomination, consistently makes environmental issues a part of his campaign theme. more
I wonder how many bullshit gallons that things gets per mile.
Man, if this works for him I’m gonna take my bald headed self and peddle hair extensions!
In his twisted mind, this is o.k. because he buys carbon offsets. This is like dumping toxic waste into the municipal water supply but claiming that there’s no worry – he also buys stock in Evian Water.
But he’s soliciting votes from New York Democrats, so it’s not like he has to worry about anyone with active brain cells thinking twice about this.
Rhodes Scholar Jokes in 3…2…1
His Brains been Rhode hard and put away dry…
Somebody help Me…There’s a Rhode Island joke in there..
“Deprivation, austerity, and suffering are GOOD for the little people,” said the elite leech.
By today’s standards, a 1999 Ford Winnebago probable has a carbon footprint equal to a small Eastern European nation…..
Bcattin….could it include a Rhode Island Red being a chicken joke?….
If I ran for office I’d hit the road in a 69 Nova SS.
A little Soros money and these vermin will put their own elderly mothers out on the street in heels and mininskirts. They would campaign to legalize child rape if Soros told them to.
Willy…If You’re going to tell a Chicken Joke…Don’t Choke it.
The hypocritical idiot is still bemoaning the acid rain scare of the 90’s which led to the sulfur dioxide credit market. The sulfur dioxide credit market was the trial run for the carbon credit market, and both are nothing more than schemes to extort money from everyone to enrich a few.
Put a hole in his gas tanks and see…..
I had one of those with a big Ford 460 Street Sweeper in it.
When ya stomped on it the only thing it did really well is blow all the leaves off the street an on to the tree lawn!
Oh yeah, it drank lots of gas!
