While driving down Route 55 in Lagrangeville, New York (about 60 miles north of New York City) on the way to a medical appointment yesterday, I spotted a sign outside of Kelly’s Steaks and Spirits that sure lifted mine! The sign announced that they DO NOT air NFL games in that establishment and the sign further went on to say:
MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN
If I were not driving at the time I would have taken a picture. I do not have the resources to go out for dinner, but that sign alone (in NEW YORK) is enough reason for me to want to check that place out if the opportunity to dine out should ever present itself to me. Predictably, the Trump Derangement Syndrome afflicting people has caused an outbreak of hatred and poor reviews for this establishment. At the top of their page, Facebook highlights certain words they think we need to know people are using:
I love the owners spirit. I just visited their FB page and thing have flipped real negative, and threatening. I imagine most those posts are far from their local. I applaud their courage and will continue to follow them.
If I drove though there, I’d belly up to the bar!
Steakhouse comes out for Trump. Snowflake Vegans suspected it all along.
Funny the Sign didn’t say anything about Donald Trump !
Me and Mrs Moe are going there for lunch within the next week or so if there is no phucking snow.
They can go to “Windflower’s Vegan wonderland” and watch every NFL game, with Grief Counselors on hand to explain why the Men keep Hurting each other !!!

Thanks for the link! I heard from one of my husband’s friends that the food is fantastic there. I hope to go there and check it out myself one day. Next time I am passing by Kelly’s I will try to get a picture of their sign.
Moe Tom, it’s a nice area, I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Also, right next door to Kelley’s is a place called Zoe’s Ice Cream Barn where they use milk from local farms to make their own delicious ice cream & whipped cream – they have the BEST milkshakes! I have been to Zoe’s with my kids. We are expecting a little snow today, but not a lot!
