My only 2 question are, after 22 years in the liar business, what took her so long? It isn’t like she woke up and said “Oh I think I’ll quit my job today, tired of telling lies.” I don’t know if I can admire someone who sat and told the lies day after day.

My local Fox affiliate broadcasts out of San Francisco, the news division parrots SF politics.
‘Journalists’ write their own copy. Talking heads just read what someone else wrote. The problem now is that political hacks in management are pretending to be journalists.

To Goldenfoxx. I live in the phx tv market and listened to her and John Hook every night for yrs. I have gotten where I don’t watch any news much anymore. Only over the last yr or so had it gotten so I didn’t think they were expressing much of their true beliefs, thus I quit watching as it seemed like a canned propaganda piece. All that to say I don’t think she was not being herself for 22 yrs
President not -elect Dick: I guess I’m cut from a different cloth. I have quit a few corporations that I thought were not acting ethically. Sure I needed a paycheck, but I wasn’t willing to go against my principals of lying to vendors or customers. Nor was I going to be the scapegoat for delivering big bucks to politicians (over the limit). 22 years is a long time to keep telling lies. JMHO.
I guess she was comfortable all those years mouthing lies, knowing that they were lies, night after night. And now, before the axe falls, she quits without apology. No apologies, no admission of failure or lack of journalistic integrity. Yet she’s “brave.” You people are dumb as rocks.

Hell, I remember when CNN was the top dog. During the gulf war they had more embedded reporters there than anyone. Back then they were a real live news organization, not anymore.
I can clearly see someone getting into the news business 20 years ago, expecting a career in objective fact-based journalism, but in the last few years become disillusioned and jaded over the bias, hypocrisy, and dem talking point grandstanding, and saying, “That’s it, the profession that I once loved has turned partisan and ugly, I’m out”.
