I remember that the petroglyphs on China Lake Naval Weapons Station were defaced in the 70s when I lived there. Some hammer head chiseled E=MC2 into the rock. (I can’t do squared on an iPhone. Sorry)

I think about what my parents said about visiting historical sites in the early 60’s. They went to Mount Vernon and Monticello and parked right in front of the homes. Rooms weren’t roped off. You could enter any space and be a part of history. Rangers were there to offer insights and information.
Can you imagine what would happen today? The homes would be busted, broken and artifacts stolen.
Respect and reverence of our history and country. Gone.

Was up in North Idaho in the Kaniksu National Forest over the weekend. Visited a waterfalls and was greeted with some asshole having scratched “Free Palestine” into the wooden sign describing the waterfalls.

Thanks pal. I read about this a couple weeks ago and read some congress critters where asking WT exact F. But it was a dead end after that. Hopefully they hung her in place of those offensive flags.
