DC: UN Ambassador Nikki Haley continues to talk tough on North Korea, promising the rogue regime they will be destroyed if the United States is forced to defend itself.
On CNN’s “State of the Union,” host Dana Bash asked Haley if the president’s promise of “fire and fury” referred to a military option with North Korea.
“You’d have to ask the president what fire and fury meant but we all know that basically, if North Korea keeps on with this reckless behavior, if the United States had to defend itself or defend its allies in any way, North Korea will be destroyed,” Haley asserted.
Haley assured Bash that “none of us want war” but said “we also have to deal with the fact that you are dealing with someone who is being reckless, irresponsible, and is continuing to give threats…so something is going to have to be done.” more

I’m confident that the IOTW community knows the big issue. But just in case. Them wacky North Korean have a couple tons of ordinance pointed at Seoul. Conventional Weapons. Impossible to detect or disable that many, save A TACTICAL NUKE. And we need to strike first.

Maybe less than that, but everyone in Seoul would die. Including a shit load of U.S. service men. What I describe is the challenge.
Over my years, I have dealt with a few bullies after repeatedly warning them, please don’t mess with me. I was very patient. But each took that as a sign of weakness. Something had to be done, either I continue to be threatened and abused or fight back.
My most notable encounters, I threw a fake left body shot, he dropped his hands and I followed with a right cross. I broke my right hand, knocking him out, and broke his jaw. Saw him later that night in the emergency room being admitted when I got my hand set. He didn’t say a word.
My hand was in a cast for about 8 weeks, his jaw was wired shut for 6 weeks.
I did get some satisfaction seeing him sip his meals through a straw.
He never threatened me again.
Unfortunately reasoning doesn’t always work (like the last 50 years with NK).
