Nikki Haley: Trump Won Despite Republican Officials, Not Because Of Them

DailyCaller: Nikki Haley told attendees at the Federalist Society’s annual convention Friday that Donald Trump won the 2016 election in spite of what elected Republicans have done over the past decade, not because of their actions.

She called for the party to examine itself and move toward principles of freedom, limited government and inclusivity.

The South Carolina governor stated that “President Trump will likely have the ability to shape the Supreme Court for a generation, and thanks in large part to the people in this room, America should be a much better, much more just nation because of it.”

Still, Haley — widely considered a finalist to serve as Trump’s Secretary of State — noted that “this election brought with it countless things we never thought we’d see” and “lessons that we must acknowledge honestly and problems that we must fix.

  1. Do as I say, not what I do.
Now that the election is over she supports Trump.
RINOs are Late to the game.
She may make a good secretary of an local insurance agency….but not in charge of any Federal Agency under Trump or any other leader.

  2. I see absolutely nothing different between the GOP and the DNC, other than the fact the GOP allows the DNC to marginalize it.

You fuckers have got 2 years to prove your worth, you better not fuck it up!

Get off the gravy train and actually do your jobs, if only for two years to prove a point! Just make a TANGIBLE difference in the majority of people’s lives, that’s all the GOP has to do!

  3. I don’t know. She hasn’t been the most conservative of republicans but if she’s having a genuine come to Jesus moment I might be willing to give her a chance. Remember that Trump isn’t afraid of firing anybody both loudly and publically. I don’t think he’d hesitate to give her the broad strokes of what he want’s to see as foreign policy and tell her to execute it (perhaps making John Bolton her chief advisor) and if she failed to bounce her out.

  4. Joni Ernst, Allen West, little Marco, and even Ron Johnson. TEA Party when it worked for them. And now Trump Party if it works for them. I’m so glad Trump is still inviting these twofaces into Trump Tower to “talk” and make appearances seem as they are in the spirit of comity. But pluck ’em, Stan. Pluck ’em right in the ear!

  5. The Republicans are better suited to the backbenches. They enjoy whining and carping at the socialists without having to actually DO anything about them. The corruption (and the rewards of that corruption) is too great.

Mr. Trump has no need of corruption – and probably little tolerance of it.

    Time will tell.

    izlamo delenda est …

  6. AbigailAdams Concord Bridge reference. That is classic. I’m going to add that to my conversations with people RE this is the most revolutionary administration since the revolution.

  7. This back-stabbing RINO is going to presume to lecture us on what happened in this election, as if anyone gives a flying fornication what she thinks anymore. She showed us who she really is, along with that other charlatan, Mia Love out of Utah and that POS Flake out of my home state Arizona.

  8. Go away Haley you two-faced weather vane of a phony liar. Go get a job in the democrat party, your lying and flip-flopping and standing for nothing and love of open borders will make you a natural. LOSER
