MyGC: NORTH Korea has threatened to hit Australia with a nuclear strike if it continues to follow the United States.
The stern warning comes after Foreign Minister Julie Bishop said on Thursday that the rogue nuclear-armed nation would be hit with further Australian sanctions as a clear message that its behaviour will not be tolerated.
Ms Bishop also called on China to do more to pressure North Korea into stamping out its hostile and aggressive ways and dumping its nuclear warheads and ballistic missile program.
In response to the comments, North Korea’s state-run KCNA news agency on Saturday quoted a foreign ministry spokesman accusing Ms Bishop of “spouting a string of rubbish” against the nation.
I see the Norks are practicing Oprah diplomacy.

Australia, I assume has nukes or can get them or we will nuke the Norks for them if they try to nuke the Aussies. And God forbid the Norks try to take out one of our aircraft carriers, I’d be willing to bet there’s a nuclear sub armed with Trident missiles hiding amongst the US Fleet that will take them out in 5 minutes or less.

My guess is that if he wants to try a long shot at the title, a la Moldylocks v. the fist, he’ll try an EMP strike. By sending large parts of the US back to 1852 he can probably kill off more Americans that way over the course of a year or so than there are NoKos in all of NoKo since we have yet to harden the grid. (Side benefit: after a year or so, the big, blue metropolitan cesspools would be empty.) He’d be atomized, of course, but it might be his twisted, dying wish to take a few tens of millions of Satan’s imperialist running dogs with him. I wouldn’t think we could do a full-on nuke strike because it would likely render SoKo uninhabitable, in whole or in part, for some time. There is a case to be made here for a neutron bomb salvo because of that. Dunno if we even carry them any more since the great liberal weepfest over them in the late 70s/early 80s. Neutron sterilization and turn it over to the SoKos as peace will have at last been achieved on the peninsula without anybody left to contest it. A little clean up and they’ll be making Hyundaes in Pyongyang in no time.
