A Walgreens in North Carolina accidentally inoculated some patients with saline rather than the COVID-19 vaccine.
The mix-up occurred with “a limited number of patients” one of the company’s pharmacies in Monroe, North Carolina, Walgreens told FOX Business.
The store immediately reached out to each person that was mistakenly given saline and set up a COVID-19 vaccination “as soon as the impacted patients were available to return to the pharmacy,” Walgreens said. more

“Saline solution” and “Covid vaccine” are so similar I can understand how they got mixed up with each other.
Maybe we should change their names so they aren’t so much alike.

If there’s this mix up imagine how the coof shots that require deep freeze are stored, or rather not stored. Stored with saline shots? Good chance actual coof shots are ineffective.
WTF anyhoo, I traveled a third of the country recently and talked face to face with maskless strangers every damn day, even rode in vehicles with some of them. Not even in the least bit coofed up. This whole thing has got to be a joke.

I know saline is used to flush IV ports and lines, not sure if it is used for mixing injectables to dilute them to different strengths.
